Tamang Conference ended in a high note at Kathmandu,Nepal. ITC started
from 16th of this month with mass rally around Kathmandu and ended on 18th of
March with formation of International Tamang Council in which main executive
committee was formed. The active participation of Tamang's from all over the
world was a special highlight of the conference. From India 200 delegates had
participated headed by President All India Tamang Buddhist Association Shri.
K.M. Tamang. And same from Sikkim 40 delegates had participated in the banner
of Sikkim Tamang Buddhist
Association headed by Shri. M.B. Moktan

Tamang was elected as a Vice President for South Asia Region in International
Tamang Council. Likewise Shri. Mahendra Jung Tamang former President of Nepal
Tamang Ghedung was elected as a President of council, Shri. Binesh Tamang from
QATAR who is also the President of Nepal
Non-resident Federation of Indigenous Nationalities was elected as a Treasurer
for the council and region wise 5 vice presidents was elected in the council
respectively. Nomination of the Secretary and other office functionaries for
the council will be done by elected members during council meeting. During this
conference constitution of the council was amended and accorded with the
discussions among the delegates from all over the world. Conference had mainly
focused on the Tamang script, preserving art & culture, future goal and
projects for the Tamang's of the world to be executed as thereof.
President AITBA also delivered a encouraging speech on behalf
of Indian tamang and same manner
President STBA speech and discussions had attracted the media, in which he had
highlighted the basic burning issues of the youth, Shri. M.B. Moktan focused on
youth oriented subject was interviewed
exclusively by Namobuddha FM, Tamang
Chawthari & Tamang Sarokar
newspapers.
Conference ended with cultural programmes, khada arpan
ceremony to the newly elected executive members of the Council , distribution
of certificates to the delegates of all around the world and a vote of thanks
by Shri. Parsuram Tamang ,Advisor of Nepal Tamang Ghedung.
Shri. Satish Theengh ,General Secretary of All India Tamang Buddhist Association, Shri. M.S. Bomzon , Former President International Tamang Council & Shri. Suresh K. Lama, Founder-President of Sikkim Tamang Youth Society were also present in the conference representing India along with 200 delegates.
Participants are from Nepal, India, Qatar, UAE, South Korea, Kuwait, Hongkong, USA, United Kingdom, Israel .

Is there any State Committee, Branch Committee, District Committee, Sub-Division Committee, Block Committee, Unit and Sub-Unit Committee of All India Tamang Buddhist Association already established/created in the Sikkim State and individual head of the family of each Tamang house are the member of the above mentioned Committee of A.I.T.B.A. and so that so called Kaziman Tamang (Titung) was elected as a President of A.I.T.B.A. through proper channel of any one of the aforesaid committee very legally or without having any such committee of A.I.T.B.A. and without obtaining even an ordinary membership through any of the said committee and illegally crossed the boarder and intruded into A.I.T.B.A. very illegally under the Barbed Wire Fencing like Bangladeshi and encroached the Chair of President very illegally, if he was elected just for money sake and flooded of funds into A.I.T.B.A. then how much funds he usually bring or flooded for A.I.T.B.A. in a year, is A.I.T.B.A. really showing this money to all the general members and really informed and announced in the three day annual convention held on 23,24 & 25th January and also recorded in the cash book, which is very much open and allow to check and see by any member.
