Aditya Singh Rajput aka Addy is a familiar name in the advertising world and Bollywood. Having shot over 100 TV commercials including some for big brands like Fanta, Close Up, Nokia and Airtel, he sure has come a long way. Add to this his Hindi film debut in the national award winning film “Maine Gandhi ko nahi maara”, where he plays Urmila Matondkar’s brother... or “U, Me aur Hum” where he’s seen essaying the role of Ajay Devgan and Kajol’s son. This Delhi born model-actor is currently awaiting his next big release ‘Choro ki baraat’ where he’ll be seen sharing screen space with Arya Babbar and Om Puri. He is featured in lead role in different Television Shows also including "Cambala Investigation Agency" in Pogo Channel, "Gumraah" in Channel V'.

Addy was looking for a perfect gateway after the monsoons. That’s when he learnt about Sikkim and its beauty and also about the Sikkim Tamang Youth Society. He visited their Facebook page and blog to learn more about the community and was really impressed to learn about how they were trying to promote and preserve their culture and community , besides identifying Sikkim in global map. Addy was also impressed by the Tamang Selo dance. A trained dancer, himself, from SDIPA, Addy’s shown a keen interest in mastering this dance form as well.
He is planning to visit Sikkim after the monsoons and during his visit he is hoping to learn more about the Sikkim Tamang Youth Society and Sikkim, in general.
