32 years old Pemba Tamang is an one of the Ace Indian Shooter from West
Kameng Bomdila, Arunachal Pradesh. He won the gold medal in the Men's
25 metre rapid fire pistol event in Commonwealth Games 2006 held at
Melbourne, Australia.
He is with Indian Army AMV Infantry school Mhow ,Madhya Pradesh ,INDIA.

In recently held Asian Shooting Championship at Doha Jan 2012 In Centre Fire Pistol event, Pemba Tamang stood 4th individually. He lost the bronze medal to Vietnam in a tie shoot. Both the shooters were at 583/600 but in tie shoot Pemba Tamang lost to Vietnam. The team of Pemba Tamang (583), Vijay Kumar (564) and Mahavir Singh (561) stood 4th. So he lost his place for London Olympic 2012.
