Binod Syangden one of the talent of hill is the son of Late Shri. T.B.
Syangden & Smt. Nangsal Syangden born in 5th Jan.1953 at
Darjeeling, a versatile Lyricist, Music Composer & Singer, his
pathfinder in the musical field was Late Shri Gopal Yonzon,Shri Karma
Yonzon, Shri Ashok Rai, Late Shri Dhananjay Thapa,Shri Sanu Lama(
Sikkim).
His first two songs was recorded from HMV, Calcutta in the year 1972, at the age of 20yrs. He was honored by HMV as a 'Voice of Darjeeling' in the year 1976. He was awarded 'Battle for Identity' from D.G.H.C. In the year 1999. Previously entered the Radio Nepal in the Year 1980 and stayed up to 4 years. He was in Sikkim Education Department since 1975 to 1979. Presently he is the Head Master under West Bengal Primary Education at Pokhreyboong High School, Darjeeling. Till date he had taken out more than 20 Music Albums and in verge of releasing his new album with various artist soon.
